The Knights of Columbus presented the proceeds of their 25th annual Bishop’s Project — a check for $125,000 — to Bishop Anthony J. Bevilacqua at a recent testimonial dinner at the K of C’s Bellevue Council home. The donation will aid McGuire Memorial Home in New Brighton and St. Anthony School for Exceptional Children in Oakmont. With Bishop Bevilacqua at the presentation are, from left, Archbishop Stephen J. Kocisko of the Byzantine Archdiocese of Pittsburgh, Sister Margaret Hannan, director of St. Anthony School, and John F. Nunzir of St. John parish in Monaca, director of this year’s Bishop Project drive. The Knights have raised $1,235,000 for the two institutions through the Bishop’s Project since its beginning.
